PhD Candidate and Programmer
Third year PhD Candidate at the University of Melbourne, sponsored by CSIRO-Data61. My research focuses on indoor localisation, sensors and modeling. I am very passionate about research andespecially ubiquitous computing but I often work with 3D graphics (Unity mostly) and Android.

Experience
Data Science Research Intern at Nokia Bells Lab
– (Remote) Cambridge, UK
“Set up an RFID based indoor localization system and proxemics tracker. Deployment did not go through due to COVID limitations. The project got repurposed to a Data Science related work. We extracted and analysed a corpus of Slack messages through NLP tools, Social Network Analysis with some Network Metrics. We then built a model to detect leadership in teams through these metrics without prior knowledge about the group’s hierarchy.”
PhD Candidate in Computing and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne
– present Melbourne, Australia

I worked mostly on robot vision and Hand-Eye camera robot calibration. I also developed part of the HMI (C#, MySQL) with a 3D Viewer of the robotic arm with inverse kinematics
VRMedia SRL at Software Engineer Intern
– Pisa, Italy
I worked on my Master’s thesis under the supervision of Franco Tecchia and Marcello Carrozzino. Occasional work on part of other projects on the Unreal Engine. I developed a plugin for the Unreal Engine that implements the S3D scripting language and the of the XVR Environment (included its VM) in the engine. The project also includes the development of a code editor with a custom debugger and a debug UI
